Tree-Athlon 2009

Tree-Athlons are taking place this year at:
London (Battersea Park) on Saturday 19 September, in Manchester (Heaton Park) on Sunday 4 October; and in Leeds (Temple Newsam) on Sunday 27 September 2009.
According to the organisers, ‘Nothing quite matches the Tree-Athlon’!
They say: ‘This is your opportunity to give something back to the environment this autumn while at the same time improving your health and making new friends.
‘This unique three-part event includes a fun 5km run, an opportunity to share your wish for the future of trees and even the chance to plant a sapling!
‘It’s also a chance to get together with like-minded people and have a great day out to raise money for tree planting projects in the UK and beyond’.
