Earth Protect: Grand Opening

The new social networking video web site on the worldwide environment is now open!

One of Earth Protect’s founders, Carol Barbeito explains that the new site “has an important role in engaging people in learning about how they can contribute to a healthy sustainable environment and connecting them to meaningful actions. I am hoping you will become a part of this effort by going to the site, joining and being active on the site from its launch”.

To join, go to Earth Protect, click on Join and become a registered user (we’re told it’s very easy; just fill in the information asked for).

Dr Jill Mordaunt, Chair of Grownupgreen’s parent charity Projects in Partnership has also been involved in the creation of Earth Protect and is a Launch Team Leader for the new site. She says “once registered with Earth Protect, gug supporters can now provide links to videos and upload videos on the environment, rate and comment on videos that are on the site, post comments in the blog and forums and enjoy the site”.

A target of 1000 new members in 30 days
Carol continues: “This will be fun, informative and your support for Earth Protect will contribute to spreading the word about this important environmental site. The goal is 1,000 registered site members within the first thirty days”. She says she’ll let gug know when this target is reached.
